Message of love
A Powerful Message of Love
Matthew 27:45-46
Amplified Bible (AMP)
45 Now from the sixth hour (noon) there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.). 46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud [agonized] voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
In Jesus' darkest hour, he was separated from his Father for the first time in his life and knew what an orphan felt like. He took on the sin of the world, yours and mine. What a burden! He who knew no sin became sin for us. And by His stripes we are healed! What love!
He suffered for us, was tortured for us, and died a cursed death for us so we who believe on his name would not perish but have eternal life and all the blessings of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us be grateful for what Jesus has done for all of us! Let us remember his death and glorious resurrection often, especially when we take communion.
We who repent of our sins and put our trust in Jesus, receiving Him as Lord and Savior, pass from:
Death to life eternal
Orphan to a child of God
Sinner to saint
Serpent to servant
Hate to unconditional love
Emptiness to inexpressible joy and full of glory
Forsaken to intimacy with God
We have so much to be thankful for, not to mention the Holy Spirit who lives in our spirit and gives us assurance of salvation, and much more.
Praise Father God all ye saints! Amen.

A BAPTISM OF LOVE
(Prophetic Poem)
The tongue of a ready writer
My Lord has given me
To declare deep and wonderful things
A few can only utter
In the light of night
In the sea of love
Deep calls unto deep
A heart's desire
A moment of destiny
A hidden treasure
For a time of pleasure
A promise of old
In a season of darkness
And love wax cold
